BAGGAGE CLAIM MOVIE REVIEW

I really did enjoy this fun film.  The plot of the Baggage Claim film is for Montana Moore (Paula Patton) to find a husband before her sister’s (Lauren London) rehearsal dinner and with the help of her airport co-workers she “mistakenly” runs into her ex’s.

There are parts in the film that you feel are unrealistic but those moments are not that far-fetched and the film is a romantic comedy.

I enjoyed the Trey Songz, Paula Patton, and Tia Mowry-Hardwick scene, it was very funny. I loved seeing Jill Scott portray a woman who is very confident with her sexuality.

This film was a typical and predictable romantic comedy but we need more black romantic comedies.

Out of 10 I would give Baggage Claim a 6

BLUE CAPRICE: MOVIE REVIEW

Blue Caprice is a film about how the DC Snipers meet and their relationship leading up to the shooting spree.

The film for me started off very slow but it did grab my attention about a half hour before the end of the film. One thing I did not like was how at the beginning of the film the young Lee Malvo had an accent at one point of the film but for the rest of the film he did not, although it is stated by Lee Malvo that John Muhammad taught him how to speak American; it’s just something I did not like.
I felt Isaiah Washington’s performance was pretty good as the psychopath John Allen Muhammad. He portrays a man who has lost custody of his kids and his disappointment leads him to take his anger out on the world, while he takes a vulnerable young man as his son and teaches him how to hate like he does.

Tequan Richmond did an amazing job as the teen Lee Malvo who was abandon by his mother because she had to work, and looks for some type of parental guidance. He finds that guidance in John Allen Muhammad.  His performance was very convincing and I loved seeing him play a dark character.

To me the film was good enough to watch at least once. Out of 10 I would give the film a 5.

SCANDAL SEASON 3 PREMIERE TOMORROW 10/3/13

Please if you are a Scandal fan go out and watch the season 3 premiere of the hit show SCANDAL.

I didn't become a fan until a few months ago when B.E.T. had a marathon. I just fell in love with the show.

Kerry Washington just does an amazing job as Oliva Pope. I can't wait to see what happens to her character next.
